The Arc A310 is the cheapest discrete GPU in the Frigate docs' OpenVINO table, and the fastest Intel row for most models. We include the A380 and A750 for comparison.

Known issues and gotchas

  • Resizable BAR: one user on an HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 (no ReBAR support) saw ~20 ms on YOLOv9-s 320 vs the docs' 8 ms (db-152). Older servers may not reach docs numbers.
  • Use type: openvino, device: GPU. A 2026 discussion notes ONNX will not automatically use an Intel Arc GPU (#23143).
  • 0.18: Intel GPU stats now read kernel DRM counters, need kernel 6.5+, and add Battlemage support; reported usage may differ from earlier versions (release notes).
