The Raspberry Pi 5 with Hailo's PCIe HAT is a supported Frigate platform per the docs. Our database has one hands-on measurement plus the official Hailo numbers.
Known issues and gotchas
Measured: Jeff Geerling reports ~12 ms on a Pi 5 with Hailo; whether the module was the 8 or 8L wasn't confirmed in our extract (db-170).
x86 does better: docs say x86 platforms with dual PCIe lanes yield further improvements vs the Pi (docs).
Video decoding is separate: the accelerator doesn't decode video (docs), and the Pi's CPU decoding is a separate bottleneck — not yet benchmarked in our data.
Pi 4 + USB Coral at 55 ms was flagged as abnormal in its source thread (db-122).
The text above is written by hand and never contains numbers or prices. Everything below is pulled from builds.json and hardware.json when the site is built, so it stays current without touching the guide.
When a tracked price is verified or drops, it goes in the newsletter alongside new benchmarks. No per-device alerts and no tracking: the newsletter is the only list.

Hosts have no inference numbers of their own; the builds below name it as the host, and their numbers belong to the detector hardware inside. Price not tracked yet, no retailer link listed.
